Some things I've learned and love:

-When Nic gets tired and has had a long day, he has "nap time" Just like a little kid, he comes home, eats then sleeps.

-Some stories about Nic, but he would be embarrassed if I shared them on here. Haha. But I think it's cute.
-I've been thinking more about how awesome Nic's family is and how accepting they are. It makes me realize what a great addition to my life they'll be.
-Nic's mom is funny and very talkative and loves to tell me Nic's life-story. She's even told me stories about their whole family's lives and stuff. It's really cool hearing all this, because they're so different from my family. It's fun.
-I know how to have fun... I just have to relax and it'll all be fun.
-I'm so grateful for my relationship with God. Even though I suck at life sometimes (a lot of the time), He's always there for me, rooting me on. If I just live with goals that are in line with His plan, then I'm happier and everything falls into place. Part of that plan is obedience to parents... I've been feeling that's such a HUGE blessing. When I am being an obedient child, it keeps me safe and it helps my parents to relax and not be as worried.
-Living by the rules really is freedom.
-My friends are HILARIOUS! They really know how to have fun. They come up with so many creative and exciting things each day.. That includes playing Monopoly, Battleship, etc. Monopoly doesn't sound that exciting, but when you play it with my friends, it's the best times you could ever have. I didn't get to play it with them yesterday though. But today we started making a video. We've decided to document our summer. It's awesome. :]

ANYWHO:
To put it simply, this summer is one of the best summers I've ever had, and it's only in like, week 2 and it's bound to get better.

p.s. I made a fan page for facebook for my photography. It's Photography by Sarah Elizabeth. At first it was Sarah Elizabeth Photography, but there was another fan page that was that. I also couldn't find it after I'd created it with that name because I forgot to publish it before I left the page.. haha.

Getting closer...

YES! I now have $80-something in my little "SMILEZ" can (which is the money I'm saving up for my camera). And some time today I will be getting $100 for my first week of babysitting Ella (3 days a week, 5 hours per day). Then I'm supposed to be getting $60 from the guitar I sold to Drew. So that will be about $240 total. That's like.. 1/5 of the amount I need. Haha.. Woo..Hoo... lol. My mom also said that for my birthday in September, they'll be able to help me with paying for my camera as my gift. Maybe they'll do that early if I'm pretty close to earning it, because that would be AWESOME! By the end of the summer I'm hoping to have at LEAST $1,040. But of course, I'll probably find other ways of earning extra money.
Today I got to help Jess a little with taking pictures of the kiddos. So I got to use her camera for a brief moment.. it was the 5D Mark II... AMAZING! It's a $3,000 camera.. I will have a camera like that when I actually have a business going and when I'm done with schooling. Haha.

OKAY... MOVING ON from the camera talk.. Sorry.. I'm just obsessed.. haha. :]

It's been a fun past couple days. Ella was kind of cranky for the first two days, but she was better today. I think she's just getting used to a new babysitter. Lol. She's been fun though. She was silly today. And it's fun spending a lot of time over at Nic's house talking to his mom and sister. I pretty much enjoy being over there more than I do at my own house. Not that I don't love my family or anything. It's just it's my favorite person's family and they're all so freaking amazing! :]
And the only thing I do at home is do stuff on the computer. Speaking of which, I need to make a new layout some time soon. :]

I've been reading Extras from the series of the Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and Extras by Scott Westerfeld. They're SO good. Pretty intense too. I highly recommend reading them.


Oh and the weekend was nice without my parents. Well... It was still enjoyable even though it was weird. I still was able to see Nic and Sunday night I was able to go to dinner with them then play and laugh and be silly with Nic afterwards.
I still can't get over how much he means to me and how much I love him. :]
